A gorgeous half-moon bay with white sands, set in an idyllic lagoon protected by rocky breakwaters. Swimmers will love to wade in the water for a long distance and still be able to touch the bottom. Bring your snorkel gear, see the amazing tropical fish and maybe sea turtles.
Location - Southern tip of the island, just past San Nicholas.
This is a mile-long, narrow stretch of beach between Oranjestad and Manchebo Beach. If you are at Manchebo beach, walk a few hundred meters south-east and you will gradually morph into Druif Beach. The swimming conditions are excellent as the waters are almost always calm. It's recommended to wear beach shoes as the sand here can get hot.
Location - across the street from the Divi Village Golf & Beach Resort
Voted one of the best beaches in the world. Eagle Beach is over 1000 meters long and is famous for its pristine and soft white sandy beach. Some stretched of the beach are quiet little sanctuaries, you can some shaded areas and beach huts as well as a variety of water sports.
Across the street is known as the low-rise where you will find hotels, condos and timeshares.
There is ample free parking.
Location - in the low-rise area. North-east of Manchebo Beach
This stretch of the beach is on Eagle Beaches shore and is Aruba’s widest beach by far. The beach is curved, approximately 800 meters long and 90 meters at its widest, and mostly faces west. The beach offers a combination of exciting waves, due to converging currents, and calm waters. Be careful not to swim out to far as the current can be strong. The beach is not crowded and is perfect for relaxing and sunbathing. There are several beach bars and restaurants nearby. Parking available.
Location - In front of the Manchebo Beach Beach Resort & Spa on Eagle Beach.
One of the most popular beaches to visit. Its home to the high-rise hotels. It is a touristic area where you will find numerous, popular high-rise accommodations, restaurants, shopping centers, nightlife and more. This beautiful white powdered sandy beach is over 2 miles long in fact it is one of the longest beaches of Aruba. The water is calm making it a great spot for families with children and you will likely notice many people relaxing on their floats in the water.
There are a variety of water sports offered.
Location - in the high-rise hotel area. Access to the beach from any parking lot or hotel. There is plenty of free parking to the right of the Holiday Inn and there is a large parking lot at Moomba Beach Bar.
This beach is perfect for families with children since the water is shallow and calm. The sand is white, soft with some tiny stones. There are beach bars and restaurants near bye. There are a variety of water sports such as scuba diving, canoeing, paddling, snorkeling and of course surfing. An added bons is the Surfside Marina and Water Park are situated on the same shore.
Location - just before the airport and a few minutes from downtown Oranjestad. It's very close to Linear Park.
This is a beautiful and quiet beach about 700 meters long. Perfect for swimming and snorkeling with calm water, white sand, palapas & huts. This beach is great for families with children as the waters stay shallow for quite a distance but be careful as the waves can sweep you further out if you are not careful and swim out too far. There is a snack shack and a large parking lot. The calm currents and plentiful underwater marine life make this beach a perfect spot for snorkeling and a favorite beach with locals. The beach tends to get a little rocky on the north side so bring beach shoes.
Location - it's the last stretch of beach on the Northwestern side of Aruba and is located past Boca Catalina just before the California Lighthouse.
Boca Catalina is one of the best snorkeling spots in Aruba. The beach is accessible by steps from a parking area alongside the road. It is very busy during the weekends with a mix of local families and tourists. It's a smaller beach with makeshift beach huts. It has a length of about 350 meters (1150 feet) and can get rather rocky at some spots. Small rock ledges near the shore can make it a bit difficult to get into the water, bring water shoes to protect your feet. Out in the distance you will see snorkeling trip boats drop off their passengers on the northside at Catalina Cove in the early afternoon.
Location -between Arashi Beach to the north and Malmok Beach to the south
This is a secluded beach perfect for sunbathing and snorkeling and is approximately 600 meters long. The water is calm, shallow and rich in sea life supported by an intriguing network of mangroves. There are public beach huts and shaded areas. The area offers a sand beach, a wooden sun deck, and access through the mangroves for open water kayaking and paddle boarding. Wear water shoes to protect your feet as the beach is rocky.
Location - in Pos Chiquito, on the southwestern coast of Aruba, just south of the Spanish Lagoon.
Tres Trapi (meaning "three steps") is one of the most unique snorkeling spots in the Caribbean. The rock made stairway leads to the water, it's a tiny sandy cove nestled in the rocky northwestern shore of Aruba. The beach is about 10-meters long. While there aren’t many fish here compared to the other snorkeling beaches, there are a lot of colorful sea stars all throughout the sea floor. These beautiful creations make Tres Trapi a unique and attractive snorkeling spot.
Location - very close about 300 meters from Boca Catalina.
DePalm Island offers entertainment and recreation for locals and visitors. An all-inclusive package must be purchased which provides all food and beverages, snorkeling, water park, banana boat rides etc.
Home to the famous pink flamingos. A day pass can be purchased to visit the island. There is a water taxi that leaves every 15 minutes to and from the private island. So much to see and do - pamper yourself at Spa Cove, watch the wild flamingos roam, playing a game of beach tennis, or simply basking in the warm Aruban sun.
Extreme sports enthusiasts and thrill seekers can be found here windsurfing and kitesurfing. This beach is not suited for leisurely swimming due to the powerful winds and waves. It's a great area to wander through the sand dunes and scour the shore for driftwood and coral.
Location - on the east coast of the island.
Fisherman's hut is a very popular beach for windsurfing and kitesurfing. There are wind and kite surfing school located right there. This rocky strip of beach is a perfect spot to enjoy watching the surfers glide back and forth on their brilliantly colored sails.
Location - between the Ritz-Carlton Resort and Malmok Beach.
This beach is off the grid and surrounded by beautiful high wall rock formations and serene views. It's well-known for its large waves, it is a favorite beach for very experienced bodyboarders and surfers. This beach is not recommended for swimming due to big waves and extremely strong currents. The beach can be difficult to find. It is accessible by 4x4 vehicle, UTV, ATV or walking. The beach is very secluded so plan accordingly.
Location - park nearby or close to the leftovers of the Natural Bridge that collapsed in September 2005 and walk over to the beach.
