Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at bousaleh@oceanhillproperties.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Yes — all travelers must complete Aruba’s official ED Card prior to arrival. You can find the official link and helpful tips inside our Aruba Travel Guide.

It’s not required, but it is strongly recommended. It protects against unexpected changes, delays, or cancellations.

You can rent a car, take a taxi, or use public transportation. Aruba is easy to explore, and most areas are well-connected. We recommend renting a car for flexibility, grocery shopping, and exploring the island comfortably.

Detailed check-in information is sent prior to arrival through your booking platform or direct communication. Instructions vary by property to ensure a smooth and secure arrival.

When our cleaning schedule allows, we are happy to offer flexible timing options for an additional fee. Availability must be confirmed in advance.

Professional cleaning is included before arrival and after departure. Additional cleanings during your stay can be arranged, pending availability, for an extra charge.

WhatsApp or text is usually the fastest way to reach our team. Contact details are included in your welcome information. NOTE: most restaurants and excursion companies use WhatsApp.

There are exterior security cameras for safety and property protection. Cameras are never located inside the home or in private spaces.

Yes! Aruba’s tap water is clean, high-quality, and safe to drink.

Yes — all properties are fully prepared with linens, and beds are made with sheets, light top blankets, and pillows prior to arrival. We provide one bath towel and one beach towel per person, along with a few extras for convenience. Each bathroom is also stocked with two hand towels and two face cloths.

Each home is prepared with a starter set of essential supplies to help you settle in comfortably upon arrival. For smaller groups or shorter stays, these items are often sufficient; however, larger groups or longer visits may wish to purchase additional supplies during their stay.

Kitchen:
• Sponge
• Liquid dish soap
• Dishwasher pods
• Trash bags

Bathrooms:
• Two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom
• Hand soap

Laundry:
• Small starter bottle of laundry detergent

These items are not replenished during your stay, so we recommend planning accordingly based on your group size and length of visit.

NOTE - items such as salt, pepper, cooking oil, or seasonings are not guaranteed. Occasionally, previous guests may leave unopened items behind, and we are happy to leave those available if they are in good condition.

Beach chairs, coolers, and beach towels are provided at our homes for your convenience. We do not provide beach umbrellas due to Aruba’s constant wind, which often causes them to break. Beach toys and floats are not guaranteed; however, if previous guests have left items behind in good condition, we’re happy to leave them available for use.

Yes — all our homes use standard U.S.-style outlets and voltage, so guests traveling from the United States can use their electronics without a power adapter. Guests traveling from other countries may need a U.S.-style outlet adapter depending on their devices.

Yes — there is a duty-free shop located near the baggage claim area in the front corner. They offer a wide selection of wine and liquor (no beer). Guests must present their boarding pass at the time of purchase.

Yes — all properties are equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and hot water

Air Conditioning:
All homes include AC units with their own unit so guests can control their individual comfort level. (The only exception is Oceania Residences, which features central air.) For best performance, keep doors and windows closed while the AC is running, leave remotes in their designated rooms, and turn units off when rooms are not in use to help conserve energy.

Wi-Fi:
Free high-speed internet is provided during your stay.

Hot Water:
Properties are equipped with tankless hot water heaters for on demand hot water

Yes — our properties include BBQ grills that operate using propane tanks. We check propane levels between guest stays; however, if you notice the tank running low during your visit, please let us know in advance so we can arrange a refill and have it ready when you plan to cook.

To help keep the outdoor areas clean and comfortable for everyone, we kindly ask guests to clean the grill after each use to prevent bugs and rodents. Please also remember to turn off the propane valve when the grill is not in use to avoid propane from escaping.

While we understand that many guests love animals and may feel inclined to help local strays, we kindly ask that you do not feed, invite, or allow stray animals onto the property. For safety reasons, unfamiliar animals may become aggressive and can carry bugs or diseases.

Feeding or welcoming strays often encourages them to return — sometimes with other animals — which can create disruptions for guests, including barking overnight.

We’re happy to check availability, contact us directly and we’ll do our best to assist.

Yes! We love welcoming guests back and offer special direct booking discounts for returning visitors. Feel free to reach out anytime to inquire.
