The Cape Cod Central Railroad takes guests past marshes, cranberry bogs, dunes, and other places only accessible by rail. There are different train packages from daytime ride with narrated tales of the history of the canal, weekday lunch or Sunday brunch or sunset dinner.
Enjoy the picturesque landscapes, the contrasts between bay, pond, ocean and greenery. The Cape Cod Rail Trail is a 27.6 mile from Dennis to Wellfleet through Nickerson State Park and the National Seashore area. It is primarily used for walking, running, bird watching, and road biking.

The Chatham lighthouse is an iconic landmark standing 48 feet tall and 80 feet above sea level overlooking the infamous Chatham Bar. It is one of the few lighthouses in America that still operates 24 hours a day. There are 30-minute parking spots available and public telescopes. The U.S. Coast Guard Station is just a few minutes away on Main Street.
At the corner of Shore Road and Barcliff Ave on Aunt Lydia Cove. The fleet leaves daily (weather permitted) and returns shortly after noon (tide depending) with a catch of haddock, cod, flounder, lobster, pollack, dogfish and halibut. You can watch from the visitor's balcony where you may also be able to spot some seals.
